Ireland is a land of legends. This art print celebrates the one of the foremost stories from the Irish Mythological Cycle, The Children of Lir. In it, the four children of the Lord of the Sea, are transformed into swans by their jealous stepmother, a curse that could only be broken when they heard the sound of a Christian bell. It was only after St. Patrick came to Ireland, 900 years later, that the children would be freed. This is an unframed, archival inkjet print of a digital painting.
